Hope Architects is live!

It’s been a hectic time, but we’re now nearly a month into full-time trading. Things are going well, and we have a lot of work on the books, including some projects we hadn’t expected to see this soon.

Excitingly, we have a plotter already, something we never thought it would be possible to justify this soon. However, it’s already earned its keep, having been used solidly for the first week since it arrived. This enables fantastic workflow for our hand drawn projects, and avoids having to stop work to travel somewhere to print or scan wide format drawings. This means we can turn around feasibility and bid schemes at an incredible speed - we have already been able to turn around a large residential feasibility project for a client who would have struggled to make a bid for a site without our input!

We are also pleased to welcome our first and most important team member, Harold. We’re delighted that he’s agreed to come on board as our HR Director, or as he prefers to be known, Head of Purrsonnel.
He brings with him a wealth of experience in creating warm, caring environments, and he is very keen to ensure that we all take regular breaks from our work, and pay attention to important HR matters. He likes to work from home, is frequently found lying down on the job, and believes there should always be time for a snooze.
